Alisa Philabaun

Alisa is the daughter of Doug and Linda Philabaun of Ironton. During her four years at Ironton High School, Alisa was an active member of several different organizations. She was a member of the National Honor Society, a Mu Alpha Honor Society math honorary member, and the president of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (Spanish Honorary). She was also vice president of the Key Club, treasurer of the Spanish Club and a Math Club member.

Alisa was also the vice president of the student council and participated each year in the annual school musical. She was a four-year member and captain of the Varsity Quiz Bowl team, also taking part in the spring and fall Knowledge Master Opens and the annual TEAMS engineering competition.

Alisa loves to play sports. She was a member of the cross-country team and the captain of the volleyball and track teams. During her senior track season, she was a member of the 4×100 meter relay team that finished eighth in the state of Ohio after winning district and regional championships.

Alisa graduated from Ironton High School Summa Cum Laude with a 4.089 GPA.

UPDATE: In 2009, Alisa let us know that she is a practicing attorney in South Carolina.
