Class of 2011
Andrew Hicks
Andrew is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Ironton High School and the son of Steve and Nichole Hicks. While at IHS, he was a member of the Spanish, Math, and Science Clubs, holding office in all of these clubs during his senior year. He was president of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honorary and treasurer of the Math Honorary. He was vice-president of his senior class and president of his freshman, sophomore, and junior classes. He was a member of the tennis and golf teams during all four of his years at IHS. Some of his academic and athletic achievements include: HOBY Ambassador, Wendy’s Heisman, WSAZ-TV’s “Best of the Class,” all SEOAL for tennis (two years), and Class of 1925 Citizenship Award. He also participated in many community services that included March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Community Hospice run, Secret Santa, and canned food drives.
