Class of 2012
Ashley Heighton
Ashley is the daughter of Scott and Penny Heighton. While at IHS, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honorary), and Delta Epsilon Phi (German Honorary). She also participated in the Math, Key, Science and German Clubs. She worked at the Ashland Area YMCA for two years and prior to that she volunteered at Highlands Museum and Jo-Lin’s Nursing Home. She currently attends the University of Kentucky and is planning to major in Medical Laboratory Science. She hopes to one day make a difference, whether it be for one person or many, and have a positive and helpful impact.
