Danielle Leonard
Danielle Leonard graduated from Ironton High School Summa Cum Laude Honors with Distinction and maintained a 4.523 GPA. Danielle was a proud member of the Million Dollar Marching Band, and served as Class Secretary, Band Council member, and Math Club Treasurer. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and Math Honorary. During Danielle’s junior year, she became a Lawrence County Civic Scholar and served her community as a kindergarten tutor.
Danielle plans to major in Biochemistry at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. In addition to the Osborne Scholarship, she achieved the following notable successes: Appalachian Scholar, 1804 Scholar, Ohio University’s Honors Program, and Governor’s Merit Scholarship. Danielle’s dream is to become a research scientist and change the future of modern medicine. She wants to give hope to families, like hers, who have suffered medical crises.
