Emily York
Emily York will be attending Marshall University to study Communication Disorders, and she was accepted into the Early Assurance Program for the graduate program at Marshall University. Emily chose this field of study due to her own personal struggles with a communication disorder when she was younger. She was so inspired by the amazing Speech Pathologists who helped her get to where she is today and would love to do the same for someone else.
In high school, Emily was a varsity cheerleader, in the drama department, and a varsity singer, as well as many other clubs and groups. She was also a competitive dancer at Yvonne Dekay School of Dance for 15 years. Emily is very thankful to have been awarded the Dr. and Mrs. Barney Osborne Scholarship.
