Ian Whaley
Ian Thomas Whaley is the son of Andy and M’lissa Whaley. Ian has been a standout student-athlete and leader throughout high school. He’s played soccer, basketball, and baseball, and has been an active member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Mock Trial, Quiz Bowl, and Spanish Club. Ian has given back to his school and community through the American Red Cross Blood Drives, the Impact Prevention Team, and as an A-Team server for four years. He served as class president for two years and further represented his peers as president of the Student Council.
Some of Ian’s favorite activities included the Variety Show, community service projects across Lawrence county, and the Civics Scholars program. Next fall, Ian will attend Marshall University to major in Finance and Accounting with plans to attend law school.
