Mary Beth Burton
Mary Beth Burton graduated from Ironton High School Summa Cum Laude after maintaining a 4.595 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society and served on many other clubs and committees throughout her high school career. She also participated in student government her freshman-junior year as class president. Mary Beth has earned four varsity letters in both volleyball and softball. For softball, Mary Beth was a member of the 2019 District Championship team who made school history by being the first team to achieve this. Mary Beth will be attending the University of Indianapolis this fall on a softball and academic scholarship. She plans on majoring in Chemistry (pre-med) while minoring in Biology and Spanish. Mary Beth would like to express how thankful she is for the past four years. She will miss all of her classmates, teammates, and the faculty of IHS. Ironton will always hold a special place in her heart!
